About This Site
Updated April 2012
Welcome to The Grammar Shack!
The navigation on the left should get you anywhere you need to go. The first section contains basic information about me such as my hobbies, my interests, and just a general overview of who I am.
The second section, the grammar section, has all the basic rules for English grammar, as well as common misspellings and hints for remembering these rules and spellings.
The last section is a section for writing and book reviews. I've posted snippets of my writing as well as explanations for the different kinds and why I write what I do.
The dotted navigation along the top will take you to my electronic portfolio for my professional writing work and to my business site, Rachelle M. N. Shaw Editing. I offer editing services for nearly every type of document and manuscript, and I do a bit of web design as well.
Also, if you haven't noticed already, several of the pages on this site have green "sticky notes" on the ride-hand side. If you see one of those, it will have the details of a recent update for that page listed. If you don't see a note, then there is no update. :)

The Monthly Post
January 2012
Happy New Year! I know that the past year may have brought some trials for many people, and it has been great for others. However 2011 turned out to be for you, I hope that this new year will be many blessings and a new beginning for those that need it. With the presidential elections taking place and the Olympics in London, it should be quite an interesting year. Also, don't forget to file your taxes! :)
